The R&B and UK garage band behind the 1999 hit ‘Re-Rewind’ that kickstarted Craig David’s career bring their signature 2-step sound to Sobar in Chinatown. With their name inspired by the Oliver Twist character due to the bootlegs they would make in their early career, the group is now composed of MC Alistair and DJ/producer Dave Low. Performing a DJ set complete with shuffling rhythms, rimshots and wobbling sub-bass, Artful Dodger are joined by Pete Graham, a West Midlands DJ and producer who often works collaboratively with dark bass house pioneer Chris Lorenzo, and Joshua.
