The Jamaica 0121 Festival returns to Birmingham’s Victoria Square this weekend, bringing with it three days of music, food and art.

Running from Fri 9 Aug – Sun 11 Aug, the family-friendly festival has been inspired by the rich tapestry of Jamaican culture and traditions, and celebrates the 62nd year of Jamaican independence.

A packed lineup of 60 live bands, local artists and DJs will be taking to the stage throughout the weekend creating an electric atmosphere while offering a platform for up-and-coming acts.

Elsewhere, a marketplace will offer guests the chance to peruse and purchase a variety of Jamaican goods and crafts. Unsurprisingly, food will be a focal point of the festival, with a mix of Caribbean cuisines available to keep you fuelled.

Entry to the festival is free. Friday’s proceedings run from 1pm – 9pm, with Saturday and Sunday taking place between 10am – 9pm. VIP tickets are also available to purchase, you can find more information here.
