Birmingham welcomes one of the UK’s top symphonic ensembles next year for a special finale to the venue’s 26/27 classical season.
The Hallé Orchestra will make the short trip over from Manchester to the Symphony Hall on Sat 5 Jun 2027, ten years on from their last appearance at the venue.
The stirring programme opens with Akira Ifukube’s Dance of the Seven Veils, with esteemed violinist Alena Baeva joining as soloist for Sibelius’s intense and high-spirited Violin Concerto.
Sensationally closing the evening will be William Walton’s dramatic choral masterpiece, Belshazzar’s Feast, promising a thrilling and fitting close to the season.
