The latest edition of Harden’s prestigious Top 100 Restaurants list has been unveiled, with two acclaimed Birmingham spots featured in the rankings.
Albatross Death Cult, the intimate 14-seat fine dining restaurant led by Wilderness chef Alex Claridge, was named 12th in the Top 100. Opened just last year, the team were praised in the guide as ‘just amazing in every way’.
Now in its 35th year, Harden’s 100 restaurants list is derived from the 30,000 reports with ratings submitted by 2,500 diners who contributed to the Harden’s annual survey.
Joining Albatross Deat Cult in the Harden’s Top 100 was Birmingham’s lauded Opheem, which gained its coveted second Michelin star in 2024. Coming in at 20th in the list, the guide explained that ‘Aktar’s cooking sets the bar for modern British Indian cuisine’.
