Visitors to the historic Grand Hotel in Birmingham will soon be able to tuck into a hearty Sunday lunch.
Served within the Grade II listed hotel’s in-house restaurant, Isaac’s, the all-new Sunday offering, which launches just in time for Mother’s Day on Sun 30 Mar, is part of a wider menu revamp for the restaurant.
Following Mother’s Day, Isaac’s will be introducing a completely refreshed menu from Tue 1 Apr, offering British brasserie-style cuisine with a French twist and dishes that will change seasonally. The shift is something of a departure for Isaac’s which has previously been styled on a New York eatery with a menu to match.
A key focus of the new menu will be a commitment to using locally sourced, seasonal produce, allowing the chefs to create dishes that highlight the best ingredients each season has to offer.
The team say this approach not only enhances the quality and freshness of the food but also supports local farmers and suppliers, reinforcing Isaac’s commitment to the community.
Johan Scheepers, General Manager of The Grand, said: “We are excited to unveil our high-quality Sunday roast at Isaac’s for Mother’s Day. We will be adding all the special touches to make sure the experience is just perfect for those wanting to treat the mother figure in their life.
“This Spring, the restaurant will take on a new personality that will embrace a more European feel, with classic British dishes blended with French influence. Our team has worked hard to create showstopping dishes that we are extremely proud of, with an added focus on fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients that truly elevate the dining experience.”
The Mother’s Day roast is available on Sun 30 Mar from 1pm – 3pm and 3.30pm – 5.30pm. To book your table, click the button below.
