The Birmingham Rum Festival has announced it will return to Moseley for its 10th anniversary this summer.

Taking place on Sat 28 Jun at The Cuban Embassy, guests can expect flowing drinks, food and live music as the St Mary’s Row venue is transformed into a ‘vision of Havana’ with exotic cocktails, exciting rum brands and street food inspired by the Caribbean and Latin America.

Ticket holders for the tenth fiesta will be treated to a celebration of all things rum, including a specially curated cocktail menu and the opportunity to sample blends from a host of rum brands including Seagull, Island Slice, Wildjac, Amber Bev and many more.

There are two sessions available for rum fun – an afternoon option from 12pm – 4pm or evening from 5pm – 9pm. Early bird tickets are available from £17 which includes over 12 rum samples and a welcome cocktail. VVIP tickets are available at £60, which includes a street food meal, goody bag and premium rum flight in addition to the samples and welcome cocktail.

Festival organiser, Anita Champaneri, said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating a decade of Birmingham Rum Festival!  The event will be a great way to kick start the summer with live music providing a carnival atmosphere and a fantastic line up of rums providing a taste of sunshine for those dreaming of warmer climes.”

Nick Rendall, owner of the Cuban Embassy said: “We consider ourselves to be the city’s home of rum and over the past ten years, the festival has become an annual highlight for both our staff and rum-loving Brummies.  This June we are looking forward to once again bringing all the feel-good festival vibes on 28th June.”
