British musical icons Pulp have announced a string of summer shows including a date at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.
The band will kick off their run of shows at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Sat 7 Jun, before playing dates that include two nights, back-to-back at The O2 in London and culminate with a show at Manchester’s Co-op Live.
Pulp will come to Birmingham on Thu 19 Jun. Speaking after the announcement, frontman Jarvis Cocker said: “You deserve more – & we have more. In fact, we have More – (but that’s a whole other story… you’ll have to wait a little more time to hear that one) In the meantime: see you this Summer!”
Support for the tour is yet to be announced. Tickets for the tour go on general sale next Fri 21 Feb at 9.30am. Fans signed up to Pulp’s mailing list by midnight on Mon 17 Feb will be invited to take part in the band’s pre-sale which will begin the next day Tue 18 Feb at 9.30am.
