The BEDLAM Arts and Mental Health Showcase comes to The Door at Birmingham Rep this November.

BEDLAM is an arts and wellbeing partnership that presents a diverse programme of visual arts, film, spoken word, dance, music, theatre and live performance.

Through festivals, workshops and projects with different communities, BEDLAM raises awareness of mental health and wellbeing recovery through the arts.

Now in its 11th year, this year’s showcase will run across Thu 28 Nov – Fri 29 Nov, and will feature a diverse live programme spanning comedy, dance, drama and burlesque.

Amongst this year’s highlights are LGBTQTeeHee!, a new stand-up comedy developed through a series of workshops, learning skills and building connection, an extract of Witness This by Company Chameleon, a powerful and deeply personal dance theatre production and live music from Red Earth Collective.

A special exhibition at Birmingham Library will coincide with the showcase. On display from Thu 28 Nov – Sat 25 Jan, the collection will include work co-created with communities through the participatory projects delivered by partners.

Tickets start from just £6. You can see the full lineup and book your spot using the button below.
