Following its inaugural instalment last year, Birmingham Anime Film Festival returns through September and October.

A diverse schedule of screenings will be taking place at both the Mockingbird Cinema and Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), with visitors invited to ‘dive into stories of adventure, mystery, and fantasy with fellow anime enthusiasts.’

Events will be split into various categories including Modern Favourites, Celebrating Akira Toriyama and Mindbending Stories at the MAC.

There will also be a couple of special podcast and film doubles, including Redline x Never Seen Podcast and Perfect Blue x Evolution of Horror Podcast.
