Lin-Manuel Miranda’s multi-award-winning mega hit Hamilton is touring the UK for the very first time, including a ten-week season at Birmingham Hippodrome between June and August.

The UK premiere of the award-winning Broadway musical First Date comes to the Old Joint Stock Theatre this August.

The story follows blind date first-timer Aaron, and seasoned dater, Casey, whose first meeting at a busy New York restaurant turns out to be a hilarious high-stakes dinner. The pair realise both of their inner critics have taken on life when fellow diners transform into supportive best friends, scorned exes and protective parents.

A Linkin Park-inspired spectacle will see 1,000 musicians join with a handful of rock legends to perform a series of the nu-metal icons’ greatest hits.

Supported by members of Funeral for a Friend, Caskets, Holding Absence, The Blackout and more, songs will be accompanied by talks and video messages from famous faces of the alt-music scene.

The show is named after Linkin Park’s One More Light tour, which concluded with Chester Bennington’s final-ever performance, which took place at Utilita Arena Birmingham back in 2017.
