If you were thinking of having a nice calm August bank holiday then our advice would be to steer well clear of the Hare & Hounds. The city’s most renowned musical party animals and sartorial legends Rhino and The Ranters will be whipping up a frenzy of barnstorming cow punk noise, attitude and energy. Drown in a swamp of sludge fuelled rock and roll laced with a good naturedly abrasive demeanour, think punk rock hoedown. The distinct rockabilly vibe will be hammered home by the inimitable Harry Jordan providing high octane support along with the dirty big riffs of duo As Mamas and the stylish gothabilly of Dark Circus. The reliably eclectic sonic archeologists Sensateria will be spinning tunes throughout.
