In a new, five-part series of short films, Eventbrite travelled up and down the UK in search of the disruptors, pioneers and creators putting on extraordinary events in Birmingham, London, Bristol, Glasgow and Manchester. Generation DIY is a celebration of the pervasive DIY spirit among today’s promoters and the team behind the films are hosting a screening and panel discussion in Birmingham this week. There will be a free food and drink reception, and DJ sets too, and it’s completely free to attend. The panel discussion will be moderated by Lyle Bignon (Freelance music PR, music writer, lecturer and consultant) and features panellists; Dan Brown (Birmingham Pride/The Nightingale), Aliyah Hasinah (Freelance Curator, Producer & Writer), Adam Regan (Hare & Hounds) and Bobbie Gardner (For-wards) as well as a DJ set by Sum Cellar.

Tue 26 Jun, Hare And Hounds, 106 High Street, Birmingham B14 7JZ, 6-9.30pm, FREE, book here: www.eventbrite.com
