Holi Rave is a day festival that is utterly unafraid to march to the beat of its own dhol drum, bringing together street food, cutting edge music and a myriad of other wacky ideas, such as game shows and retro film screenings, in a cultural explosion of epic proportions. This is the Hindu festival of colours, but Holi Rave is proudly inclusive – all faiths, spiritual practices and secular beliefs welcome. That’s a pretty admirable mission statement, we’re sure you’ll agree. It’s all family-friendly fun from 3pm till 6pm, but after that the sound system will get cranked up and the party will really get going, complete with showers of rainbow powder paint and all the festivalesque trappings. We don’t fancy the clean-up job of Leveldigbeth at the end of the night, but then again, maybe it’ll brighten the place up…
