The influential space rock pioneers Hawkwind may have been around for several millennia and gone through umpteen line up changes in their illustrious career, but they remain one the most innovative bands in rock history. Dabbling in garage sized synthesizers before most people knew what they were, championing the free festival movement and giving Lemmy his first big musical break (and the band name Motorhead) just skims the surface of the legendary Hawkwind history. For this new innovative show, In Search of Utopia, Hawkwind will be accompanied by a live orchestra for the first time in their career.
