Word on the street is that beloved Birmingham venue Boxxed will no longer be hosting club events from July onwards – another blow for the local scene after the Rainbow Venues closed its doors for good back in March. So this is something of a farewell event for Trancecoda, leading trance brand whose home was Boxxed; and sadly, the Trancecoda team suggest that this might even be their last ever party, with rising costs making it more difficult to throw this kind of for-the-people affair. It’s fair to say the dance scene in Brum is suffering at the moment, but together with event specialists Trance Sanctuary, Trancecoda are at least hoping to make this one to remember. Truly, that’s all we can ask for. And with legendary DJ Eddie Halliwell at the helm, this is bound to be nothing short of epic.
