See our preview of the associated South Asian Film Festival here featuring free film and regionally themed food or step into Street Beat, a Bollywood and Sufi music event with local artists, an interactive mural and food stalls. Soul City Arts present this new, interactive, public artwork celebrating the sights, sounds and stories of Birmingham’s iconic Ladypool road. Led by internationally renowned artist Mohammed Ali MBE, the project brings together the worlds of street-art and technical wizardry and augmented reality to create a mural that springs to life under the gaze of your smartphone. A launch event for SPARK kicks it all off on Sat 25 Nov with free activities for families, music, art & Ort Café selling a variety of low cost South Asian treats.
