The stuff of combined current musical and visual dreams, ‘The UKs most thrilling new band’ (NME, March 2017) meets the super-charged and wildly zeitgeisty art school indie trio Dream Wife as part of their UK tour and tickets won’t hang about. Dream Wife’s output to date takes after the New York swagger of The Strokes and The Yeahs Yeah Yeahs and is reminiscent of their US counterparts Warpaint. Snapping at the massively camp glam and envied-by-all heels of HMLTD, The Guardian has now name checked them both amongst their ones-to-watch. We suggest you don’t hang slack on the tickets front, this one will almost certainly sell out – and some.
