An indie art lovers dream, if you have a penchant for beautiful things, like to support local makers or have ever enjoyed poking your nose around the brilliant open gardens events (and its cakes), this one’s for you. For two weekends local artists are opening their doors to exhibit from locations all over the Moseley & Kings Heath area and open studios include places like The Old Print Works, A Painted Room in Moseley (pictured) as well as artists’ home studios. Everything from jewellery and wearable to political art will be on offer with ceramics, carpentry, sculpture and oil painting representing just some of the many different crafted creations. The event offers an opportunity to meet with artists in their working environment and children are welcome with chances to see how the art is made and items available to buy and commission. Food, drink and other fancies (read lashings of tea and cake) may also be available.

Sat 23 Sep & Sun 24 Sep, 11am – 5pm at various venues. For a map and more details see www.artsbrum.com
