An event like no other Expanded Intimacy combines culinary cocktail experimentation served with bespoke glassware created by artists Nuala Clooney and Kaye Winwood. The audience will experience three specially prepared cocktails by mixologist Robert Wood (of Smultronstalle and The Wilderness fame) specifically concocted to explore the sensual nature of the glassware and the relationship between hand, mouth, tongue and nose. Working on the basis that no other form of fine art is more delectable than food, research associate Kaye Winwood and artist Nuala Clooney are all set to showcase the fruits of their labour in a collaboration with Steve Williams, award-winning glass blower based at the School of Chemistry’s glassblowing facility. Expanded Intimacy will take place during the Arts & Science Festival. Tickets are limited and will sell out fast.
