2016 was a big year for Birmingham’s very own beat boxing singer songwriter. Two EP’s, radio airplay and a series of barn storming gigs have seen Ed’s profile and the attendant buzz go stratospheric. Highlight was the launch of EP ‘Unseen’ at Mama Roux’s in October; a sell out crowd, an incredible performance and a huge marker planted in the musical landscape of Birmingham. You better believe us kids, Mr. Geater is going places. 2017 is shaping up nicely for Ed with a headline show in March at the Hare and Hounds. The rest of the bill is a veritable who’s who of the best of the Birmingham music scene with Brummie funksters Bear, the beautiful soul stylings of Dee Ajayi and singer songwriter Amy Louise Ellis. There will be DJ sets from Jack Barber and The Deviant to tickle your dancing feet into the early hours. Get on the buzz.
