This is Tmrw are the most eclectic gig promoters in Birmingham bringing a diverse range of acts to the city whilst supporting local bands along the way, they are also behind the incredible All Years Leaving festival. Luckily for us we are all invited to their Christmas party at the Hare and Hounds. A glorious triumvirate of local talent is performing along with some as yet to be announced special guests. The wistfully bleak and dreamy electronica of Dorcha headline. It’s been a busy year for Dorcha with a new EP out soon and a mention in the Guardian. A great live band, we can hear so many cool artists filtered through the Dorcha prism and producing their unique sound. They bring to mind for us Raincoats, Young Marble Giants and even X-Mal Deutschland, but that might just be us. There’s a mysterious early 80’s feel about them that we love. Also playing are the soulful Chartreuse and Delta Autumn. Throw in the legendary This is Tmrw DJ’s and it promises to be a great pre Christmas knees up. Maybe Santa will show up.
