Mellow fruitfulness reigns at the autumnal escapades in our fave city green space Martineau Gardens. The Autumn event at Martineau is always a hoot featuring a full range of harvest-type activities, spectacles and indulgences from fruit pressing (did someone say cider?) to local bands, Morris dancers, wild and wacky workshops, kids crafts/wildlife workshops and creative fun, musical performances, stalls, talks and the obligatory Martineau honey and cakes. We love this tranquil, beautiful space, we love its ethos of inner-city wilderness and community creativity, we love its wild spirit, but most of all – we love autumn!
