The brothers Crook and Davidson bring their Sheffield honed indie rock to town. So fresh faced they look about 12 years old, they have been garnering quite a reputation with their winsome sound. Band of the week in The Independent in February and receiving airplay on Radio’s 1 and 6 things are looking good for The Sherlocks. Obvious influences from the likes of Pigeon Detectives and Courteeners the boys make a grown up sound belying their tender years. Support comes from one time NME band of the week Blaenavon, three boys with a story to tell, their excellent new single ‘Let’s Pray’ was released in July and is highly recomended. Excellent double header.
