Back again to delight us with his beautiful balladry and gentle Wolverhampton witticisms, Midlands most soulful singer songwriter Matthews returns, guitar in gifted hand to make more acoustic magic for a show in support of his newly released album Home Part 2 album. This time with full band support. Matthews describes the album as ‘his brightest spectrum of light to date’. We love the way all his work continues to invoke the spirit of the sleepy timeless talents of the likes of Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake and Joni Mitchell, whilst confidently retaining something uniquely all his own.
