Be Festival ft Massive Battle Ships & Free Late Night Sounds sessions
Every night of the magnificent Be-festival is topped off by an aptly inclusive free-for-all fest of music, dancing and sweet reminiscing of the day/night’s awesome events. Kicking off the weekend is the Referendum party on Thursday followed by Global Soundclash ft DJ Glynn Phillips on Friday and Northern Soul and Motown DJ Mazzy Snape takes the decks for the awards/closing party on Saturday (25th). An Evening with Eleanor Wasserberg at Waterstones

Trevor Burton Band at The Fiddle & Bone
There aren’t many Birmingham musical luminaries with a heritage as rich as Trevor Burton’s. A founding member of ‘The Move’, who had a memorable number one hit with “Blackberry Way” in 1968 pop pickers, and connections with a whole host of rock star royalty; performing with the likes of Robert Plant, Steve Gibbons, Noel Redding, Roy Wood and Dexy’s Midnight Runners amongst many others. Trevor continues to gig regularly and you can catch his unique blend of smoking hard-edged blues at The Fiddle and Bone this Saturday.
