Roll up, roll up. For anyone whose ever dreamt of running away with (or maybe sending their kids off packing with) the circus, a weekend of free circus frivolity awaits. Ace circus skills school Circus Mash – who also offer all sorts of classes, performances, professional development, parties and workshops for every age – open their doors this weekend to throw a bit of light on their marvellous community circus and all its many wonders. Saturday will see a show from their Youth Circus followed by free aerial skills workshops, plus tightrope and juggle club and Sunday will witness yet more physical feats with hula hooping, contemporary movement as well as circus fitness & wellbeing (clue, you can meditate in mid-air). And not a scary clown or lion tamer in sight…
