Founded by Andy C, the ‘world’s leading Drum & Bass label’ comes to Birmingham for a furious night of frenetic breakbeats and filthy basslines. Topping the bill is English D&B producer Sub Focus, who has quickly progressed from making music in his bedroom just five years ago to playing the likes of V Festival and Coachella last year. His live set, which is likely to cover a lot of musical ground to reflect his self-confessed eclectic taste in electronic music, comes complete with motion sensors to trigger both sound and light by movement, his ambition being to push the visualisation of electronic performance conceived by artists such as Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis “a little bit further”. He is joined by fellow RAM signees DC Breaks, Audio, and Frankee. London’s Mampi Swift also guests.
