Adventure junkies are invited to gather at the unlikely pilgrimage spot of Birmingham’s Town Hall on Saturday as it hosts this unique collection of short films inspired by the sweeping peaks and troughs of natural phenomena and all the adventures and action they inspire. “Follow the expeditions of some of today’s most incredible adventurers, see amazing footage of adrenaline packed action sports and be inspired by thought-provoking pieces shot from the far flung corners of the globe.” Matinee and evening showings offer distinct programmes giving insights into both beautiful human stories and outlandish physical adventures including Mexican volcano expeditions, paddling over the Niagara falls, rainforest, skiing in the high arctic to the backdrop of a solar eclipse, barefoot climbs and an emotive father and son story set within the Grand canyon. Suitable inspiration for all the family, the films have a 12A certificate.
