Popular EDM night Seedy Sonics is back at the Rainbow with deep house/UK garage duo Blonde and Brighton-based DJ Zac Samuel. 2015 was a big year for Blonde, whose single All Cried Out featuring Glee’s Alex Newell reached no. 1 in the UK Dance charts. They are looking to keep this momentum going with their first Birmingham show of the year. With their reputation as ‘one of the UK’s leading tastemaker nights’, Seedy Sonics are championing the lesser known Samuel as a hot tip for 2016. Like Blonde, who met in cyberspace, Samuel’s success as a rising artist can be largely be attributed to the internet, posting his music on Soundcloud and gathering a substantial following in the process.
