Colours ft Claude VonStroke | Sat 15 Jul | Rainbow | from £11
Perpetually smiling production/DJ genius Claude VonStroke is back in Brum and ready to show the raving faithful how it’s done. Fingers crossed the weather stays as warm as VonStroke’s bouncy, bass-propelled tunage when the sun sets on the terrace and the party gets started. The Dirtybird label boss is renowned for his virtuoso selection abilities, and when he last performed in Birmingham back in November he brought out a tonne of heavier, jungle-influenced tracks that went down a treat with the bassline-loving locals. Only time will tell what kind of set we’ll hear from the beardy maestro this July. Also starring Marc Spence, Tom Shorterz and more. See our feature here. www.therainbowvenues.co.uk
