Under clear blue skies, Seedy Sonics and Bestival usher in the summer with a colourful fiesta of bright lights and loud music. Aiming to recreate the exhilarating atmosphere of the Rio Carnival crossed with the breathless hedonism of the second summer of love, Carnival Magnifico sees some of the biggest names in underground dance music tear up the Rainbow’s open air Arena amidst a sea of sequins, feathers and general extravagance. Dig out your most garish outfit, put on your raving shoes and prepare your eardrums for the sounds of DJ Zinc, Jaguar Skills, Mistajam and the three pronged assault of Royal T, DJ Q and Flava D (known collectively as TQD),as well as an as-yet-unannounced special guest. Fancy dress strongly encouraged,although prospective carnival-goers are reminded to consider that the event is outdoors when picking their costume.
