The Rainbow Venues are the only English club outside of London to host Young Marco’s latest European selector tour and it looks set to be an enjoyable evening as he treats his guests to a variety of his favourite compiled tracks. Marco Sterk is an impressive Amsterdam producer whose unique style has got him a record label with the infamous Dekmantal. His compilation includes rare and often overlooked tracks and artists, as his intense musical knowledge is showcased and shared with the crowd who will no doubt be hooked onto every intricate rhythm.

Scru:club presents: Cocoon | Sat 25 Mar | Scru | £15
Birmingham’s newest clubbing addition is still steeped in mystery (see our preview here) and if you’re questioning when to go and explore it this Saturday looks like it’ll be an explosive evening. Scru have teamed up with none other than Cocoon to bring that Berlin/Ibiza rave mania to the Second city. Berlin’s own Steve Bug headlines the night, electronic music extraordinaire, who will undoubtedly be supplying magnetic tunes that can force any weary raver to their feet. He’s a perfectionist when it comes to finding the right rhythms, and combines deep house, acid and minimal techno to create the ideal musical concoction.
